2019 CROSS COUNTRY CAMP

Come join us in 2019 for an informative, challenging and fun week at the University of Pittsburgh with the Pitt staff and student athletes. Campers are placed in pacing groups based on their age, fitness and current times. They are shuttled off-campus to various running trails in beautiful, sunny Pittsburgh.  Camp will offer training, racing strategies and individualized goal sessions. Tuesday night we will attend the Pittsburgh Pirates vs Chicago Cubs major league baseball game.

June 30 - July 3, 2019

CAMP LOCATION
Campers will utilize soft surface trails and be provided transportation to parks such as  Schenley, Panhandle Trail and on campus facilities in beautiful Pittsburgh, PA.

Anyone Planning to Compete for a High School Team in Fall 2019

COST
Regular Camper Early Bird Special Until April 1st: $570
Regular Camper On or After April 2nd: $590
Day Camper: $475
Team Camper | 7 or More Individuals on Same Team: $550
**Coaches please contact camp for discount code, must be from the same high school to receive the discount.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in/check-out is at 2:00pm-4:00pm on June 30. If you are flying into Pittsburgh International Airport, please plan to arrive on campus around 2:00pm, and depart after 1pm, to ensure an on time schedule. Check out will be on July 3 at 11:00am-Noon.

DORM ROOMS
Overnight campers will be housed in Sutherland Hall, 3725 Sutherland Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
Bed Linens, Pillow, Blankets & Towels are provided.

3:00pm → Teaching Session (Learn By Doing) - Technique Drills, Hurdle Mobility

7:30pm → Evening Activity - Camp Dance, Ice Cream Social, Game Night, Movie Night (Student Center / Camp Store Open)

 CAN I COME TO CAMP ALONE OR DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF A TEAM?

We welcome individual campers and teams. If you come to camp by yourself, we place you in a dorm room with another single camper, similar in age. It's a great place to meet new friends who share your enthusiasm for the sport and to have FUN!

 HOW MANY CAMPERS ARE PLACED IN A DORM AND DO YOU ACCOMMODATE ROOMMATE REQUESTS?

When you register for the camp, you have an option to submit a roommate request. If you would like to add a roommate request after registering for a camp, please feel free to give us a call or send us an email. We accommodate all roommate requests, made before 2 weeks before the start of camp, roommate request need to be made by June 16, 2019 at 5:00pm. Campers who do not submit a roommate request will be placed in a dorm with other runners, similar age and same gender.
